Insight
Countless homeowners dream of remodeling, but they leave their dreams bound to a Pinterest board because they think cash is their only option.

Challenge
Bring awareness to homeowners that there are other financing options beyond cash, like applying for a HELOC (Home Equity Line of Credit). Our challenge was to both educate consumers about their financing options, and motivate them to take action. 

Idea
Knowing home improvement is the number three category on Pinterest, we created an interactive, personalized ad unit that used Pinterest’s API to create customized home renovation pins for our users.

Quiz User Journey
With just a few easy questions about Pinners’ styles, projects, and budget, we provided personalized Pinterest boards.

Our customized Pinterest Boards included renovation tips from the Scott brothers and financing tips from us.

The Results
Not only did we surpass benchmarks on Facebook and Pinterest, we had 31.9K quiz completions, 6.2K Pinterest Boards created and 2.9% lift in brand consideration.
